1 half of We Are Mutants, H3, is BACK with a new Moombahton tune entitled; Break It.
Showing a different side to his productions, this track showcases a different approach to Moombahton, making the hard hitting March Snares the front runner of the track, and those pitchy lazers nothing more than an accessory.

What’s poppin’ Mutants! 2011 was a BLAST for us and what better way to have spent with with y’all at Laundy’s NYE Bass Bash ft AC Slater (Touble & Bass/NY)!!!
H3, 1 half of We Are Mutants dropped a MAJOR Bootleg of KL’s Rave Heros; Goldfish & Blink’s Dubstep Banger ‘Bila Seharusnya’ featuring the vocal stylings of Hujan’s Noh Salleh. This track DROPPED at NYE and the kids went wild. Check it:
H3’s Bootleg takes the Ethereal Original and brings it to a more sinister dimension. Still not losing the feel of the original, the contrast between Noh (Hujan) Vocals and the Drop totally demolishes. (Not to mention the surprise at the 2nd Drop)
Here’s the FREE DOWNLOAD of H3’s 2012 Bootleg of ‘Bila Seharusnya’ Mutants! Let’s get Malaysian Dubstep on the map. Let’s go!
Goldfish & Blink ft Noh Salleh - Bila Seharusnya (H3 ‘2012’ Bootleg)
It’s been an EPIC year for The Mutants! MUSIC
∆ Dubstep Track of the Year
Modestep - Sunlight // Hate it or Love it, THIS track totally changed it up for the face of Dubstep. Incorporating not only Live Rock Elements and ‘Pop Vocals’, the tune takes a life of its own with it’s Mid-Track Tempo change and just all out mashing right at the end. With Dubstep having to carry it’s ‘Dark and Underground’ Persona, this track brings it out into the light and let’s the ‘Summer Luvstep’ radiate.
∆ Moombah Track of the Year
Dillon Francis & Diplo - Que Que ft Maluca (Torro Torro Remix) // SUCH an enormous track, with phat weighty Kicks and sexy female vocals. Torro Torro’s treatment uses a devastating Rave like synth that’s never been heard before and totally wrecks dance floors. BIG TUNE!
∆ Album of the YEAR
Kanye West & Jay-Z’s ‘Watch The Throne // One of the most highly anticipated collaborations in HISTORY. These 2 Hip Hop kingpins DID NOT disappoint! With a list of 6-Star Producers working on their album, each track had a character of its own.
∆ DANCE FLOOR WRECKER of 2011
Swedish House Mafia - Save The World Tonight (Zedd Remix) // It’s 2.30am and the crowds reaching a bit of an Anti-Climax.. You start lining up the intro to this tune… and once it hits 1.00 you hear a euphoric roor from the crowd. Next thing you know, everyone’s singing along to one of the BIGGEST tunes of the year. Nuff said.
∆ BEST Local Track of 2011
RUN THIS // When I 1st watched this track on Youtube I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the quality of production (Both Audio/Visual).. An absolute Hip Hop Anthem that rivals any International Song.
PARTIES! PARTIES! PARTIES!

Love,
H3

MAD LOVE to the people at Dubstep.net for featuring our very own H3’s Dubstep Banger ‘Litosphere’ on their site.
Here’s the AWESOME write up to the track:
I’m at a loss for words to properly describe my initial reaction to H3’s new original “Litosphere”, but thoroughly excited and totally awestruck would certainly be a great start. Incredibly skull-shattering bass lays the foundation for superb vocal manipulation, punchy drums, and a bombastic line-up of squealing, mid-range synths. Travel to the Litosphere and encounter the musical violence of H3, you’ll be thankful you did!

Back on the Dubstep Grind, H3 has come back with a MASSIVE Dubstep Banger, showcasing a more mature, Bass Weighty approach to his sound.
With Monsoon Records, he’s decided to give this one away for FREE as an ‘Thank You’ Gift and early Xmas Presents to all the Mutants who’ve been supporting Mutant Music.

What’s poppin’ Mutants!
Late last week, I managed to have a quick chat and pick the brain of the ONE and Only, Conrank.
If you remember, we at Monsoon+ had the pleasure of bringing him down for a night in KL and he blew shit up with his blend of Grime and Bass! The man’s been blowin’ shit up recently, playing at the Secret Garden Festival in the UK and was also voted ‘Best International DJ’ in Taiwan.
Apart from his performance value, he’s been dropping some MASSIVE tunes lately and been producing for the likes of #1 Beat Boxer; Killa Kela and Taiwan Hip Hop Massive’s Shen Yi and Double.
Here’s what went down!
H3: Tell us in your own words what Conrank Music is all about.
Conrank: Fun, bass, emotion and fun again. I mean the music I make is a direct translation of how im feeling in the studio at the time. I have an extremely vague idea of what im gonna make when i go into the studio, but every track goes its own way. I go through phases really, at the moment i seem to be pushing out big dancefloor bangers but just six months ago everything that came out was mellow and more leftfield, and im starting to make a load of grime too… really my music is about the many things around me that inspire me, and that always changes, depending on location, feeling etc.
H3: How did the Conrank Moniker come to conception?
Conrank: It was a split second thing really, i mean, Kela called me and said lets do a project together, lets call it “Kela & …” at the time i didnt even have a production name and i sat there sayng, Kela & , Kela & …. and Conrank just came out, and that was that…. i love it, its random but i have never regretted the name, unlike others in the past hahaha.
H3: So we know that you’ve been conjuring some MEGA tunes lately like Grand Ruckus - 6 Million Ways (Conrank Remix) and Lo-Fire’s ‘I’m Fire’. What’s bubbling up in the Conrank Lab at the moment?
Well, i have just finished Killa Kela & Eklips’s EP which is out now, that was a mad project to be involved with, but it was really exciting and taught me a lot about constructing a song, and working as part of a group., I’m used to being a one man band. Apart from that i am just writing a hell of a lot, i have a new EP dropping on Simma Records very soon, plus a remix on Tokyo based label “Hydra”, and in the new year i will be dropping a few tracks on my own label Rankadank. Also keep your eyes on my soundcloud www.soundcloud.com/conrank, in the next couple of weeks i am going to be putting up a free track called “From Above”, i’m really really happy with it, and i haven’t given a track away for a while. The most exciting project for me at the moment is “Lo-Fire” which is a Dubstep/Grime project I’m involved with, made up of myself, Taiwanese Hip Hop Artist; Shen-Yi and Beatboxer; Double.
Apart from your much beloved Drum n Bass and Drumstep.. what other genres are you hot for at the moment?
I have a strange passion for 90’s RnB. H-Town, Jodeci, Dru Hill… but thats something i got into when i was 15 through my older brother and have never stopped loving. Also in the last year i have become obsessed with grime, i love the rhythms, aggression, lyrics and the production is so sick… can’t get enough of it at the moment.
Wow that’s pretty interesting.. Never saw Dru Hill coming! What are your TOP 5 Tracks of 2011 at THIS point?
D Double E ft. Dizzee Rascal - Bluku! Bluku!
Chase & Status - Time (Wilkinson Remix)
Nice! I love Bluku! Lovin’ the Dubstep vibes. Speaking of which.. What’s your stance on the whole US Brostep vs. Purist Croydon Dubstep situation at the moment?
I just think everyone needs to chill out. There is loads of music out there that people like and don’t like. Everyone is different. How many different styles can you list under the category “Rock” for example. Should someone who likes Motley Cru be any more right and proper than someone who likes The Pixies? It’s all about taste and everyones taste is totally different, if you don’t like big squelchy wobbly tracks then just don’t listen to it or buy it, and if you feel sub full deep dubstep tracks bore you then do the same, simple.
Very well said. What are your thoughts on the current state of dance music here (In Asia)? Audience and DJ-wise.
I think it’s really exciting. The thing i have noticed is sometimes the small cities can be more exciting than the big ones. Take Taiwan for example, there is a bar called “Brickyard” in the south in a small city called Kaohsiung, and although you wouldn’t know it, it’s one of my favourite places in Asia to play, the crowd are really up for it, very open to different sounds… they like to party and it makes it so much fun for a DJ. At the moment i am doing an Asia tour with Antidote (a shanghai based promoter) and every city i go to, however big or small, there is passion. Yeah the scene is small, but sometimes that is when it’s most exciting.
Passion drives everything I suppose. What was the craziest party you ever played at?
I used to do a night in London called Milk Face. Every month we had around 7/800 people passing through and it was insane. I remember one time people were taking off their tops, myself and a few others drunk way too much tequila and at one point one of the dancers just fell off the podium and passed out for about ten minutes… then suddenly with everyone dancing around him he jumped back up and carried on. There was even an orthodox jew there getting funky on the dance floor, that is a party i will never forget.
Haha! Orthodox Jew Moshing and Nudies! Definitely Mutant-worthy. Aight serious question comin’ up. What advice can you give readers who aspire to build and become part of something massive (Such as Conrank Music) too?
I would say, don’t get too tied up in having the latest plugin’s or equipment, make what you can with what you have at the end of the day you could have millions of pounds worth of stuff and not have a clue how to use it. Also learn how to finish a song, there is too many producers out there with 100’s of tracks on their hard drives that never see the light of day. Make it, finish it and show the world… someone out there will like it, and you will also get feedback that will help you grow.
There you have it Mutants. Believe us when we say; You’re gonna hear the name Conrank A LOT more very soon. This guy is blowin up Up UP! AND he’s also dropped a freebie our way! Check this out!
